Son Bernadinet is a small exclusive hotel that offers visitors a warm welcome and a friendly air of tranquillity and well-being. Settled in the Mallorcan countryside close to some of the best beaches on the island and conveniently places for all the main centres, guests have the option of quietly soaking up the peace and tranquillity or getting out there and taking part in all the liveliest activities Mallorca has to offer.

The main house has three lounges and the dining room, designed with a stylish blend of rustic stone and minimalist décor. The guest rooms occupy separate small buildings dotted around the grounds, surrounded by almond, orange and cypress trees. The swimming pool with its shady pergola draped in soft wisteria, is at the top of the finca where the terraces have expansive views across the plain of Mallorca in one direction and right out to the island of Cabrera in another.

The kitchen gardens at Son Bernadinet are cultivated on organic principles to bring to their table the freshest and tastiest ingredients possible. In one corner, a grove of prickly pears give shade to the chickens, ensuring a steady supply of new-laid eggs for the Son Bernadinet breakfasts.

The guest rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. They continue the same minimalist theme with stylish decoration and soft colours that welcome you in. And the facilities are comprehensive with telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, internet, terrace, minibar, etc, etc.

It would be tempting to spend a whole holiday without ever moving away from the finca, but that would be to miss so much. At any time of year, a visit to the beach as Es Trenc and the dunes of La Garriga is really a must, and Palma is only 40 km away.

Restaurant:

The restaurant is open only for residents. To start the day there is a generous breakfast. Various types of fresh bread, home-made preserves, Mallorcan cheeses, cold meats, fruit, home-made pastries, cereals, fresh eggs…….
To end the day, a quiet dinner, in the dining room, or out on the terrace if you prefer. The menu is different every day, using fresh produce from the finca's own garden in dishes that are typically Mallorquin. The choice of wines too is excellent, and carefully kept.

What We Say:

The nearby beaches are stupendous at every time of day and every season of the year: just think about being the only one there in spring, a early-morning swim in summer, soaking up the warmth in autumn (while everyone at home is freezing!) or long walks through the dunes on a balmy winter's day. Then return to Son Bernadinet for a delicious dinner and a long quiet chat in the lounge, far into the evening.

Cancellations:

Cancellation must be received in writing (fax or e-mail) no later than 15 days before arrival. Cancellations after that time, will be charged at 25%. Cancellations with less than 2 days notice are charged at 50%.
