Sitting at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, there is the little village of Lloseta. It is here on the edge of the plaza that you will find the Petit Hotel Ca's Comte, standing between the magnificent Ayamans Palace on one side and the church on the other.
Ca's Comte is the result of a painstaking restoration, carefully preserving the features and architectural details of it's 18th century origin. Built as a house for a noble Mallorcan family, it formed a part of the Ayamans Palace.
Within the massive stone walls is a terrace and inner patio where you will be transported back to an altogether less hurried way of life. From here too, you can reach the lounge and the restaurant, both typical examples of the Mallorcan patrician style. A new addition in 2006 was the Spa & Wellness Centre, where you can pamper yourself with a jacuzzi, sauna, turkish bath, aromatic shower or massage.
The hotel has just eight rooms,
four of them suites and two with jacuzzi-baths, and each providing all the modern amenities such as air-conditioning, television, internet connection, hair-dryer and satellite television within a historic and stylish setting.
Each afternoon, tea and cakes are served, and complementary liqueurs (traditional Mallorcan) are available to guests in the early evening.
The centre of Mallorca has traditionally been a wealthy area built on commerce and many crafts such as pottery, wine, weaving, shoe-making and glassware. This is the wealth that built such magnificent houses as Ca's Comte. You can still view a very different Mallorca here today, without ever being far from the attractions of the sea, the beaches and the mountains.
Restaurant:
The hotel dining room seats up to 24 diners, in an ambience of pure traditional Mallorcan style. Breakfast is a buffet including typical Mallorcan products. Dinner is served every day except Sunday and Tuesday, with a choice of a la carte, or table d'hote priced at €25.Hover on a picture to pause the slideshow, click for a bigger photo

What We Say:
The whole world knows Mallorca and sometimes it seems that most of them go on holiday there. But once you have left the airport, you can leave the hordes behind. You won't want to miss the north-west coast where the mountains drop sharply into the sea. Nor the beautiful crystal-clear calas of the east coast. Nor even the large sandy beaches that abound. And when you've seen enough sea, take in the culture of a hundred different towns and villages, buy your souvenirs in the little craft markets of the out-of-the way places, and walk for miles amongst the mountain scenery. Located in the centre of the island and far from the busy resorts, Ca's Comte is the perfect base for all of this. It has style and exclusivity to spare.Customer Feedback:
