Can Guillem is a little Ibiza hotel renowned for the warm and attentive service provided by the owner, Vicente. This charming seven room hotel is formed from a typical Ibizan farm, still standing in 16 acres of fragrant herbs and all manner of trees; olive, pine, carob and palms. There are fruit trees too, and in season the oranges, lemons, avocados and cherries as well as organic vegetables will find their way to the restaurant tables.

Around the hotel there is space to spare, a good sun terrace around the pool and a big area of green for quietly enjoying the peace of the area.

The décor of the interior is the sort of modern that merges so well with the typical Ibizan rural architecture: lots and lots of cool white to offset the heat of summer, accented by vibrant splashes of colour and texture. There are seven guestrooms in total, six doubles and one suite. The house also has two lounges, where guests can stop to relax, chat or quietly read.

One can only wonder what the reaction of the original farmers would be to the delightful little “agroturismo” that we find at Can Guillem today. It is a fine of example of the rural chic that Ibiza does so well.

Restaurant:

Meals are available for hotel guests on request, using a maximum of locally-grown fresh organic fruit and vegetables. Among the typical Mediterranean cuisine there are some uniquely Ibizan choices, and some vegetarian dishes too.
